Jen Kedgley MSc started her career working for Historic England for the Development Management Team - South East helping with casework and answering enquiries.

She moved on from Historic England to become a heritage consultant for HCUK Group, a nationwide environmental heritage consultancy where she worked for 7 years, starting as an Assistant Heritage Consultant and rising to an Associate Director. 

Working as a Heritage Consultant, Jen has extensive experience in all areas of the historic built environment. She has worked with private individuals, developers, architects, planning consultants and local authorities to facilitate change within the historic built environment.  

Jen has experience of working with all types of heritage assets, on both small and large scale projects. She has been involved in getting planning permission for a new research park in Cambridge for the Wellcome Trust and for the contemporary extension to Hammersmith Town Hall and surrounding development. She also has extensive experience in gaining planning and listed building consent for alterations to private residences for extensions, demolition and rebuilding in conservation areas and new housing developments within the setting of listed buildings. 

With experience at all levels of the planning process from providing initial advice through to appearing as an expert witness at public inquiry level, whatever your plans - small or large, Jen's professional and timely approach can aid your project to help you achieve your aims.
